ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Deborah Marlene Warrick, Founder/CEO.

Began rescuing unwanted captive wolves in 1981. Founded the St. Augustine Wild Reserve in 1995 as a care center for exotic animals. AA Degree, St. Johns River Community College. B.S. Degree in Biology, University of North Florida. Zoology major, San Jose State University. Editor/Publisher of Wolves & Related Canids magazine. Graduate, Los Angeles Zoo Animal Keeper Training Course. Graduate, Chemical Immobilization of Animals. Experienced trainer with large carnivores, including wolves, tigers and lions. Degree in Medical Transcription. Creator/producer, wolf educational program at an amusement park on the East Coast.
